Dress For Success
Next time your pet gives you a dirty look when you break out his jacket before hitting the road, pay attention. Veteniarians are saying that while it may seem plausible to bundle up your dogs for cold and we weather, our pets just weren'nt meant to wear clothes. Vets have been noticing an uptick in skin damage and irritation as a result of pet clothing, along with reactions potentially caused by stress and overheating. They agree that most dogs and cats have coats sufficient enough to keep them protected in inclement weather. Unless your pet is hairless, has a very think coat or doesn't tolerate cold for other reasons, you're probably better off dkipping coats, scarves and other accessories.
